Nice hot spring with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. There was a guy who spoke some English and escorted me to the locker room and explained everything. He was very helpful. You need a ¥100 coin for the shoe locker. You can get it back after you’re done. The front desk will keep your shoe locker key and give you a key for a locker in the locker room. Once you’ve put your things in the locker wear your key around your wrist it’s okay to wear in the water. Each hot spring has its own style this was a bit different. Our car was stuck neatby thr facility due to heavy snow. We had to go to this hot spring to ask for help. They helped us find the local number for our hotel (as the number of our hotel on the website was wrong). Immediatley heloed us car a taxi (when our hotel told us on the phone that there is nothing they can do). Gave us food. Let us stayed in the facility even though we did not use the hot spring. Read moreThe lady and old man who run this public onsen are so kind hearted and helpful to my husband and I during a snowstorm whereby our car was stuck on the mainroad near this onsen.
They helped me with directions and translations for calling a taxi and tow truck while we panicked to find arrangements to go back to our hotel.
Lovely place, very cosy and run by very kind hearted people. They even gave me candy and some spare snacks to make sure we were not hungry!
