富士登山口の一つ、御殿場口にある情報ステーションです。富士登山期間に開設されています。 登山者へのサポート、外国人への対応や無料wifiスポット。 登山、トレラン、サイクリング、観光などのコミュニティスペースなどの施設です。 アンケートに答えて登山証明書がもらえるそうです。…後で知りました…。 休憩スペースや下山で真っ白になった靴などを洗えるウオッシングエリアも備えます。 また、トレステ展望台から間近に見る富士山や宝永山の眺めは特に見事です。 反対側には箱根方面の眺望が開けます。この展望台はいつでも登ることができます。 向かいには24時間トイレ。 登山道を10〜15分程登ると大石茶屋があり、お土産や食事が出来ます。ここまでは一般観光客も入ることができ賑わっていました。

7月下旬に訪問。市街地では38℃程でしたが、25℃ほど。一番低い登山口ですが、自家用車で上がりたい人、上までは上がらなくていい人にはかなりオススメ。というか、この理由でここにしました。必要なのはガソリン代だけです。無料のトイレがあるのもありがたいです。駐車場も十分。写真は、ひとつ上の休憩所からの景色。自衛官か、走って上がっている人もいました。
