夏の天売島を訪れました。7月以降は珍しい鳥が少ないことは承知していましたが、やはり期待していたケイマフリやウトウの姿を見ることはできませんでした。

それでも、その日の天売島は、訪れる価値のある感動を与えてくれました。港や海岸を舞うたくさんのウミネコ、そして島全体を覆いつくすかのように空を飛び交うアマツバメの群れ。その圧倒的な光景と、透明感のある青い海を見たとき、来てよかったと心から思いました。
