This station is very small, like there is just a platform. (There is actually a restroom too :p)

岩手県八幡平市安比高原にあるJR花輪線の無人駅です。秋田県の大館駅から盛岡駅まで走ります。運行本数が限られています。私が訪れたときは人っ子一人いませんでした。トイレも待合室もあります。きれいでのどかでこじんまりとした駅舎でした。 駅から車で10分位の所にインターコンチネンタルホテルやクラウンプラザホテルがあります。周辺はスキー場やゴルフ場があるリゾート地帯です。

とても静かで平日の昼間は仕事の合間の休憩や仮眠をとる車がチラホラ…サボり過ぎはダメですよ⁉️ 無人駅ですが真冬の平日でも暖房は入っていて暖かい待合室です。トイレも綺麗にしてあり気持ちよく使えます。朝と昼間や夕方をメインに電車は来ますが平均すると二時間に一本くらいの割合です。３月上旬でも雪は多く雪山に来た感じを味わえます。
