The toilets were disgusting. Just going outside would have been more pleasant. The smell is beyond description.

The futons provided were also unbelievably bad. Like they had been washed incorrectly and all the filling had lumped into hard balls which were genuinely painful to lie on. We ended up just sleeping on the floor as it was less painful than the futon.

Food was good though. But when you are paying ¥35,000 for a bed, a meal and a toilet for 2 people and both the bed and toilet were terrible, it's hard to be happy with the meal.

Finally, the one drink we got from a vending machine was expired by 9 months and tasted terrible. So another...

白馬岳山頂までは少し距離がありますがいちばん近いテント場のある小屋です。 白馬山荘にはテント場はありません。 テント場の展望はなく、以外に平らではないです。そして風が強い。水はとても豊富です。

前回コロナ前に来た時はテント泊で今回は小屋泊にしてみました。 小屋のスタッフさんはみなさんとても感じ良く、なんと言ってもいちばんはご飯がおいしい! バイキングでこんな家庭的で美味しいご飯を山でいただけるとは感動です。 野菜を使ったメニューが多くてバランスがとても良い。 お弁当も1500円と町中では高いと思う金額ですがオカズは豪華でとても美味しかったです! 談話室ではオーナーさんの手作りとゆう絶品のバスクチーズケーキとプリンが食べれます。 生ハムやお菓子などお酒のおつまみもあります。

部屋もトイレもキレイですしちょっと小屋裏に上がれば天気が良ければ朝焼け、夕焼け、星も見れます。

繁忙期は状況や対応が違うのかとは思いますがとてもアットホームで素晴らしい小屋でした...
