本殿そのものは、良くある地方の集落の神社だが、参道横にある湧水が、霊泉、眼病に効く霊水として崇められていたとのこと。それを取り囲む、末社を含めた雰囲気が素晴らしい。 一つ残念なのは、今はポリタンカー御用達の水汲み場と化していること。ポリタンカーがいると、折角の霊場的な雰囲気もあったものでは無い。 なお水は確かに美味しい、ただ、弘前の水道水ならば、あまり変わらぬ美味しい水は気がする。

お守りや、お札が無人販売されています。 代金は、賽銭箱に入れるようになっていますので、お釣りが出ませんから小銭の用意が必要です。
