The climb in Mt. Gusuku is not that hard but going there was. So in IE Island it is either car, motorcycle and bike. It happens that we are not allowed to do motorcycle because of the license we have. Then the car should be per reservation so we do not have any choice but to use bike. It was an adventure to be honest. All I know is I will unwind in this island, but NO, it is a day of exercise. We used to bike going up to the starting point of Mt. Gusuku, it was tiring but worth it. From the top you can see the whole Island and you will...

It is a short hike with spectacular views! Take some bug spray. You can walk to the trail head from the Ferry port, but I would recommend taking a taxi, or renting a car or bike. There are steps to the top of Mount Gusuku which take about 20 minutes to walk. There are steep, and can be slippery so wear...

This is a easy/moderate climb. Can be steep in several locations and the steps are narrow. We walked sideways to get a better grip. The summit is bumpy with no flat space to stand.

2025.5.16 沖縄の伊江島の真ん中に有るシンボル的な岩山 島の中央やや東寄りにある海抜172mの岩山で村外からは「伊江島タッチュー」の名で親しまれています 城山は島より7千万年も古く世界でも珍しいオフスクレープ現象（古い岩盤が新しい岩盤に潜りこむ中で一部が剥がれて新しい岩盤の上に乗る現象）によって形づくられました この現象は理論として語られていたが実際に見るのは世界でも伊江島しかありません 烏帽子を思わせる独特な形から古くから近海を航海する船が目印にしていました また航海の安全と健康あるいは豊作を祈願する城山御嶽があります 登る際にはサンダルはダメですね〜苔が有りジメジメしている登山道を登っていくのでそれなりの覚悟が無いと登れません そのかわり頑張って登った先には見たことの無い絶景が広がりますよ! 天気が良ければ360°島全体が見渡せるだけでなく瀬底島や美ら海まで見えます 伊江島に来たのであれば1番のおすすめスポットです
