A local friend recommended we get kamatama udon while on the island, and Matsu Noodle Factory was the perfect spot to try it. Although there was a line out the door when we arrived (through when we left), it moved quickly. We all got different variations on our dish, in addition to tempura and rice sides, and all 6 of us ate for around 5,000 yen.

The side with firm corners and hips was the best. The accompanying tempura was also reasonably priced and delicious, freshly fried and delicious. The rotation is fast, so even if you're standing in line, you won't have to wait long to eat.

Very delicious udon! There is always a line out the door, but didn’t take very long to get food and be seated. The menu is simple and the chicken tempura was delicious 😋
