Nice hike. The path to the fall is 700m long, starting from the parking next to the fire station. During summer season it's difficoult to see outside the path due to heavy vegetation, but the hike remains simple, with some steep passageway that can be dangerous during descent. At the top of this climb you'll be just in front of the waterfall and you can easily touch the cold water.

駐車場から700m山道を登った先にある。 それはそれは見事な滝である。 その道のりも途中からは完全なる登山状態に。 ほぼ人が通った形跡だけで成り立っているといっても良いような場所が400mほど、その部分だけでも登るための時間はおよそ往復30分ほどかかるだろう。 登別は大湯沼へと歩く山道が初心者レベルに思えるほど荒々しくて、よく言えば大自然を満喫できるということである。 滑落防止柵なんてものは全くと言っていいほどなく、落ちようものなら即〇な場所に申し訳程度にロープが掛かっているだけ(と言っても大人でも簡単すり抜けちゃうほどガバガバ)、大けがはさけられないであろう様な場所にもない。 というか行けばほぼ設置できないような場所だってわかると思う。 それゆえに行き交う人と交差不可能な場所もいくつかあるので行く際は配慮が必要。 平日でもまあまあな数の観光客の方々とすれ違ったからシーズンともなればなおさらだろう。 熊対策に関しては、そもそも道が険しく、通る場所に熊が来れる場所はほとんどないくらいの場所であるから熊鈴は必要ないとも思えるが、前半部分は開けているので、そこはあった方がいいと思われる。 一応言うと、熊出没注意の看板はなかった。 最後まで登った先の感動はぜひ肌で感じて欲しい。 達成感は絶対にある。

A nice, short, and relatively easy hike with beautiful views along the way. The waterfall itself is very pretty although not breathtaking. I thought that it is definitely worth going if you’re in the area though.

Nice little hike. Some clambering towards the end, so not for people with bad knees even though its not a very long trail. Canyon walls are very steep and pretty. Would be lovely in the fall when the leaves...
