開館時間 観光案内・物販コーナーは午前9時から午後5時まで、トイレは通年24時間利用できます。 休 館 日 12月31日から翌年1月3日までは観光案内・物販コーナーが休館 ここ「オスコイ！かもえない」では、神恵内村の特産品などを販売しています。 なかでも「活ホタテ」は、館内にある水槽から自分で網を使って獲り購入することができます。 また、春には「干ふのり」や「塩わかめ」、夏は「塩水うに」や「甘漬けウニ」、秋は「こんぶ」など季節の商品も多数販売しています。 ドライブの休憩によられた方には、「ソフトクリーム」がおすすめです。 季節によって種類を変えているので、全種類制覇を目指してぜひお立ち寄りください。 ほかにも、ご当地キャラクターの「どらごん太」と「たつ姫」のストラップや「どらごん太」のおやつシリーズもお勧めです！ ぜひ「オスコイ！かもえない｣で、お土産やバーベキューの材料をお買い求めください。 〇名前の由来 道の駅「オスコイ！かもえない」 「オスコイ！」の由来 神恵内村は江戸時代よりニシン漁によって栄え、大正時代にはニシン水揚げ全道一を記録。 その後、昭和に入りニシンの水揚げは激減し「スケソウダラ」や「ホッケ」「イカ」などの漁業に転換していきました。 今でもニシン漁の面影を見かけることができる、その一つが「オスコイ！」です。 「オスコイ！」はニシン漁に使っていた船を漕ぐ櫂（かい）の動きを合わせるためのかけ声「オースコーイ」が由来。 この「オースコーイ」というかけ声は、今でも神社の御神輿を担ぐかけ声にも使われていて、ニシン漁で栄えた時代を偲ぶことができます。 「かもえない」の由来 村名である「神恵内（かもえない）」の語源は、アイヌ語で「美しき神秘な沢」を意味する「カムイナイ」に由来している。

Clean road station. You can buy the famous sea urchin (uni) from this area here but it sells out quickly. The local one was sold out so instead they sold the ones from Suttsu which is not...
