八ッ場あがつま湖から西方向に見える柱状節理の絶壁の上に帽子を被ったような特徴的な形の山。 八ッ場ダムの展望台からは良く見えますが、丸岩の近くまで行くと木々が邪魔になってなかなか山の全貌を見ることが出来なかったです。
