Ogawa Falls — Local services in Kinko

First off, great and beautiful waterfall. The water is so clean and the nature is flush. However, unless you go to the big parking lot (雄川渓谷駐車場) and walk about 15mins, you’re most likely on the viewing deck at the top (last photo) and won’t see or be able to do much. But once you get to the proper parking lot (free!) and start walking, you come across the beautiful scenery and the river which a lot of families will take advantage of and kids will be playing in at the halfway point. Beautiful stunning waterfall. We didnt bother going to the upstream look out and you can tell from the pictures available why that may be the case. DO NOT go to the place google map takes you to. Go to "Ogawanotaki Yuhodoiriguchi Parking Lot". You walk 1200m one way upstream on a very well maintained and kept track to an observation deck where you can view the waterfall.
