韓国岳経由は山頂から往復3時間位かかりそうなので、大幡山経由で縦走しました。 ひなもりオートキャンプ場から少し下がった大幡山登山口駐車場に車をとめてスタート。 駐車場から車道を少し下がった所にある大幡山登山口への入口から30分ほど歩くと、本当の大幡池への登山口に入ります。 大幡池には寄らない尾根ルートで大幡山山頂で昼食。そこから尾根を進み、一旦下ってから登りに入ります。最後は凍結しており、簡易スパイクを装着して登りました。 大幡山山頂からは40分ほどでした。 山頂からは眺望はありませんが、直前に展望所があり新燃岳が近いです。引き返して下り、尾根に出る前の開けた所からは、高千穂峰の全体像が見られるので、素晴らしい眺望でした。 帰りに丸岡山山頂にも登って下山。休憩も入れて7時間20分ほどかかりました。
