AEON MALL TAKANOHARA — Local services in Kizugawa

A decent typical shopping mall, just avoid Gindako in the food court as they're trying to rip off people who get sodas by offering way too much ice and too little soda in their cups, also their deepfried Korean takoyaki while a hit for Japanese highschoolers seems good at first but has way too much msg or additives that leave one thirsty which is why I thought I was getting a deal from them with the drink set but was actually paying top yen for merely ice. If you like traditional style takoyaki try inside Tsururankan mall which has Kinsho grocery, hankaku bakery and Daiso. I prefer getting sodas from McDonald's with a bit of ice or from the aeon grocery store or vending machines. On a happier note this shopping mall has two crane game places, one called Taito and the other is at Molly's Fantasy playland which is conveniently at the 3rd flr food court. There's a Starbucks, Holly's Cafe and Burger king on the first floor among many eateries. All of these places happen to be near the car parking entrance so if you're coming by Train you've got a bit of a walk inside from the other end of the mall, except if you're headed to the Cinema it's right upstairs on the 3rd floor via fast escalator or slow elevator. 2 stars because it is in a good location... But, every other mall is better. This is the only supermarket I have seen that removed all self-registers because of a malfunction and now never has enough registers open, so the lines and wait times are the worst here compared to anywhere else. They are also too lazy to properly clean the parking lot. There is trash, pieces of wall, dirt, bird pieces, etc in any parking space less commonly used. Also, they are too lazy to remove birds that try to live in the parking, so they just block those spaces so people can't use them.
