二戸市と九戸村の境にある標高852.2mの山。 この辺一帯では標高が高い山で見晴らしがとても良い。 初夏にはヒメボタルを見る事ができる。展望台、キャンプ場、折爪岳山の家という施設がある。 二戸側か九戸側から行く事ができる。 二戸や九戸、八戸等の街を眺める事ができる。 天気が良ければ八甲田山や八幡平、岩手山を見る事ができる。

コロポックルの公園に車を停めて山登りをしました。 往復3時間ほどで登り切れましたが緩やかな山道で初級者の自分にはぴったりでした。 ちなみに山頂の看板は鉄塔の入り口の茂みに隠れてました。 そして帰り道は山道ではなく車道を歩いて帰りましたが、滝が３つほどありオドデ様の伝説を知り楽しめました。 展望が素晴らしかったです！

コロポックルの公園に車を停めて山登りをしました。 往復3時間ほどで登り切れましたが緩やかな山道で初級者の自分にはぴったりでした。 ちなみに山頂の看板は鉄塔の入り口の茂みに隠れてました。 そして帰り道は山道ではなく車道を歩いて帰りましたが、滝が３つほどありオドデ様の伝説を知り楽しめました。 展望が素晴らしかったです！
