We had an amazing time on our winter rafting tour. The slide entry into the river is not to be missed - it definitely got the adrenaline going! Our guide, Basant, was excellent looking after us on the river, which was beautiful in the winter. He was very knowledgable about the river and the nature of the area. We stopped for a hot drink and snack and got to enjoy some time in the snow as well. The communication from Michiyo was great - we were picked up from our accommodation and dropped off at our request to a bus stop afterward. She also took some wonderful photos during the tour. During my time in Niseko, I tried several activities, but one that I really loved was the Snowshoe Tour with Adventure Smile!! Special thanks to Basant, our guide. The route is absolutely beautiful, with stunning snowy landscapes. The trail is easy to follow, though there are a few spots where you need to be a bit more careful, but the guide was always attentive and gave us a heads-up.

My wife and I had a beautiful peaceful snowshoe trek to Hangetsu (Half Moon) lake, with our guide Bassant, who was full of information and drew our attention to so many fascinating trees and animal tracks. We enjoyed a cuppa with Bassant out on the frozen lake and came back to our accomodation feeling refreshed and ready to ski again.
