地元の方の利用もあるのでしょうが、由良川橋梁を渡るため、丹後由良駅との往復（もしくは宮津駅）で利用される観光の方もおられるようです。と、いうか私もそうでしたが。駅舎は待合室だけですが、綺麗なトイレもあり、これぞザ！田舎駅の雰囲気（良い意味で）満載です。真夏の、蝉の鳴き声がバックにあれば無茶苦...

京都タンゴ鉄道 丹後神崎駅、ここは神崎海水浴場最寄りの鉄道駅です。 ひなびた無人駅なのですが、車が待てる小さなロータリーがあったり充実した待合室があり無人駅とはいえ非常に素晴らしい駅です。ローカル線ながら夏休み中は結構利用者の多い駅になっております。 この先の神崎海水浴場はアニメ「花は咲く、修羅の如く」の舞台になった海水浴場です。 ショート映像の撮影の舞台になったのですが登場人物達は高校生なので間違い無く丹後鉄道を使ってやってきてこの駅で乗り降りしたことでしょう。 海岸に聖地巡礼する方は多いと思いますが、帰りにはまさにこの駅の待合室で5人は列車を待ちつつ映画の事などの話をしていたのだろうなという情景は容易に想像できます。 これこそ正に贅沢な聖地巡礼ではありませんでしょうか？ アニメ「花は咲く、修羅の如く」がお好きな方は是非ともこの駅も聖地巡礼してみてください。
