A very friendly hiking trail. And this mountain has a special name “ Sanuki Fuji “ for its alike appearance to Mt. Fuji. And I think it looked really like Mt. Fuji. And You can see the famous Seto Bridge along the way !

見て良し登って良しの山。頂上は展望があまりない代わりに、道中代わる代わる風景を楽しむことができます。

丸亀駅のレンタサイクルで電動アシスト付き自転車を借り、丸亀市野外活動センターまで20分ほどで行けました。坂道でもグイグイ登ってくれるので楽チンです。そこからの登山道はとてもよく整備されていて道幅も広いので歩きやすいです。傾斜の緩い巻道経由で山頂まで50分ぐらいでした。途中の見晴らしの良い所には風景の案内板があったりして楽しいです。六合目でも結構な高度感がありますね。山頂はまあまあ広い平地があり、トイレもありました。ただ、眺望はありません。少し下がった所に展望台があります。山自体は独立峰で急傾斜ですが、うまく道が付けられていて登りやすいですね。良い山です。また登りたいです。

「丸亀市：飯野山」読み方は「いいのやま」です。飯野山には3本の主要登山道があり、丸亀市飯山町の石段を直進するコース、坂出市側からのコース、一番歩きやすく登山者も多い丸亀野外活動センターからのコースがあります。

随所に案内板があるので、分かりやすくなっています。4合目からは見晴らしも抜群。道幅は2ｍ以上あり、おしゃべりしながらでも楽々登れます。

山頂からは、天気がいい日には、県境を越え愛媛県の山々まで望めるのだそう。ただし見えるのは1年に3日くらいだそうなので、見えた人は幸運です。下山は約1時間程度。余裕を持って時間配分をしましょう。
