How many airports in the world have a farmer's market 3 minutes away? Thats the magic of Kyushu!

We picked up our rental car, and not one minute away was this Produce market selling everything we needed for our trip next couple of days. Knowing this place, you can have more variety with your travel plans - BBQ, Hotpot, or even cooking at the next BnB / Camping.

Definitely pick up fruits here - cheaper and fresher. Veggies - this place offers much more varieties comparing to supers Meat - All types you need for BBQ / Shabu-shabu Nabe Seafood - there is a small seafood stall attached to the main building but we didn't visit Dry goods - Condiments, Noodles, Snacks, whatever you can think of

WATER! Pick up all the big bottles for your trip!

Our next trip thru Kumamoto airport will definitely include a camping option now we know this market...

If it were possible to give this place a 10-star rating, I would do so with no hesitation! If you are a lover and supporter for locally sourced fresh seasonal produce, this place is just heavenly! You can buy fresh produce in bulk unbelievably cheap! Even for foreign visitors like me was just amazed by the freshness and cheap price! But one caveat - there is no public transportation getting there! If you don’t drive, it is advisable to get a brief taxi drive from the Aso Kumamoto Airport to this place (cost no more than 1000yens) and then walk back from there to the airport after finishing your visit! I tried to walk to there from the airport as Google Map had suggested but the directions given was painstakingly confusing and...
