鹿島区の市街地にあるこじんまりとした神社ですが、大きな欅の木が圧巻で、何かしらのパワーを頂けたと思います。 社殿前に綺麗な菊が飾られておりました。 市街地ではありますが、静かなところでありました。 社務所に伺いましたが、不在のようでした。 良き日に参拝する事ができました。 また、良き日にご参拝させていただきます。

巨木がいっぱいあります。 御朱印は、拝殿手前の右手 社務所で頂きました。 御神紋は、「三つ石畳」とのこと…。 神職様でも御長男の方だけしか使用できないとか！ 拝殿の屋根には、「九曜紋」が中央にあり、左右に「三つ石畳紋」がありました。 ご丁寧に対応して頂きました。

南相馬市鹿島区鹿島町地区にある延喜式内社　鹿島御子(かしまみこ)神社です。 推定樹齢800年〜1000年の２本の・夫婦欅・は見てものすごく立派でビックリしました。境内の銀杏の木のとても大きくて立派です。とても綺麗でした。

天足別命（あまたりわけのみこと）は 父神である武甕槌神の息子です

東北地方沿岸部は鹿島神社系が 多数存在します

磐城国は常陸国の隣ですから 当然ですがこれは中央勢力の 東北地方進出の戦略拠点に なった為と思われます

志那都比古命、志那都比売命は 風神です

毎年1月14日の「火伏祭」が 有名らしいです
