In my personal opinion the best beach I’ve been in Miyakojima. Careful tho, there is no shadow space around, only white sand, spectacular water and if you are lucky enough only yourself and the nature!

Beautiful long white dream beach
さかしたたかひろさかしたたかひろ
ここ長間浜について語るとしよう。ここにはトイレやお店などの設備は一切ない。文明の利器を捨て、自然そのものと向き合う覚悟が必要だ。駐車場から浜へ向かう道中には木々が密集したトンネル。先に美しい海岸があると信じないと、その薄暗い道を進むのはなかなか勇気が必要だ。 地元の人によると、潮の満ち引きによって風景が大きく変わるとのことだ。潮が引くと、岩場が多く姿を現し、ゴツゴツとした地形が顔を覗かせる。満潮時の方が断然美しい。海水が満ち溢れ、浜全体が澄んだ水で覆われる瞬間は、まるで時間が止まったかのような静寂と美しさに包まれる。 車を駐める場所は舗装されていない。そのため、天気が悪い日は特に足元に注意が必要だ。雨が降ればぬかるんで滑りやすくなる。 この浜の本当の魅力は夕暮れ時に現れる。夕日が海に沈む瞬間、その美しさは言葉を超えた感動を与えてくれるだろう。しかし、注意すべき点もある。駐車場までの道には明かりがなく、陽が落ちてからは足元が見えにくくなる。懐中電灯などを持参し、十分に気をつけて帰路に就く必要がある。 この施設は、設備の整った観光地とは異なる、自然と一体化した体験を提供してくれる場所だ。訪れる際は、その特異な魅力と共に、安全面にも十分配慮することを忘れずに。長間浜は、日常から一歩離れた冒険と、手つかずの自然の美しさを楽しむための絶好のスポットである。

Absolutely beautiful beach with nobody around. The sand is so soft and pristine, amazing place. The entrance to the beach is a very small sand path between the bushes, and all of the sudden opens up to the white sands of the beach. Highly recommended. Snorkeling was nothing...

Came for sunset. A bit late, the parking lot at the end of the road was full, so had to back up quite a bit and park close to the junction, on the side of the road. You can find lots of hermit crabs in the...
