この寺院は鳴門市大麻町大谷山田に位置しとても大きな寺院です　沢山の建物　また新築工事中なのでよく　見れませんでした　完成時に来ます　This temple is located in Oyayamada, Osamachi, Naruto City, and is a very large temple.There are many buildings under construction, so I couldn't see them very well.I will come when they are completed.

この東林院は徳島県鳴門市大麻町大谷山田に位置します。ここは、JR鳴門線の大谷駅と池谷駅との間の北方面にある。県道１２号線から少し北に行った所にある。東側は宇志比古神社がある。正式には、八葉山神宮寺東林院と号する。高野山真言宗で、別名種蒔大師と云い､弘法大師とのゆかりが深い寺である!開基は行基、天平５年(733年)創建で､現在四国霊場８８ヵ所１番奥の院である。本尊は薬師如来、愛染明王である。東側にある歴史ある宇志比古神社の別当寺であった!

2014/02/16と同年の09/08に自宅からマイカーで車遍路で参拝しました。 最初の02/16は自宅～小田原は小田急線、小田原～京都までは新幹線、京都からは、高速バスで四国の鳴門に降り立ちました。 高速鳴門駅に下車、鳴門市観光情報センターでお遍路の身支度をして歩き遍路を開始しました。JR鳴門駅から電車で行くつもりが駅に到着時に徳島行が出発してしまい、急遽バスに変更したりして時間待ちが鳴門駅前で出たため東林院には14:時を過ぎて到着しました。 東林院境内は、なかなか広々として開放感のある境内で、本堂の右には瓦葺きの鐘楼、ご本尊は薬師如来と愛染明王です。...
