Suishakan — Local services in Nasu

We came a little before lunch and there was already a queue out the door. There's a main dining hall with big windows of the view outside but we were sat in the annex which was a bit more quaint. There's space for strollers but you might need to be comfortable with sitting on the floor.

The food came quick and you can easily tell that it was very fresh. I think I'm biased because I very rarely eat true buckwheat noodles but there were really tasty (I usually have the cheaper type that's cut with flour). It's hard to describe the flavor because the cheap stuff basically has no taste. But I can confidently say that these noodles taste like buckwheat even though I can't pinpoint the flavor lol.

20250331開店直後に訪問しました。 道の駅敷地内なので駐車場も問題ありません。 店内に張り紙で毎週金曜日定休日になったとの事。 オーダーは券売機で入店してすぐに決めなければならないのであらかじめ玄関の外にある 大きなメニュー看板で決めておく事をお勧めします。訪問当日は 平日にも関わらず数人の待ちがありました。 開店と同時にお客さんが店内に吸い込まれて行き、数分で満席に、ほぼ常連さん的な感じで皆さん券売機の扱いにもオーダーする物も決まっているらしくスムーズに流れて行きます。 たまたま肌寒かったのでかき揚げそばの暖かい汁にしましたが打ちたてのお蕎麦はザルの方がよかったかなとちょっと後悔しましたが、かき揚げも暖かい汁も美味しくとても温まりました。 セットの炊き込みご飯も優しい味で温まりました。 裏の大きな水車はもう少...
