A beautiful waterfall located within the grounds of a local Shinto shrine. Reaching the base of the falls means walking up some stairs to the shrine first (and parking a little ways away since there’s no parking immediately near the entrance), then going down a large number of steep old stone steps. There’s an observation platform, a suspension bridge, and lots of other temple buildings nearby. The observation area was unkept and overgrown but offered an excellent view of the waterfall. So if you have the energy and stamina then I highly recommended the shrine route.
