Mt. Ishidou — Local services in Nishi Mera

The location was pretty hard to find for me. The location on google maps starts at the very bottom of the mountain and is mostly used during the mountain opening event in spring. The trail starts with a steep hike. About 20 minutes into the hike you'll get a stretch of flat path however the trail is mostly steep with numerous chains or ropes to help you climb. My calves did a lot of work😓. The trail consists of numerous false peaks where you think you've gotten to the top only to find that another peak lies ahead. There are also a few scary parts on the trail if you are afraid of heights. I am an intermediate climber who goes at a slow pace. It took me about 2hrs to get to the top with many short water breaks in between and photo stops. My descent was a little over 1.5hrs. Overall it was a pretty good hike. It's a nice hike with some decent scenery, though it is very steep in places. There are numerous sections with chains and ropes. There is a fantastic view from the peak and there are some flat areas...

米良三山の一山で、市房山に並んで南北に長久手古戦場山体を連ねて存在感を示す山

1回目登頂記録 20201229林道長藪線末端の六合目登山口から、攻めました。 2時間25分で往復しました。 天候も良く登山日和でしたが、登山者はなく寂しかったが、登山道は整備されていましたが、金がかかる足場は手付かずかとは思いましたが、トータル的には手入れされていると感じました。 地形的に八合目からは岩場とロープの連続と思いましたが、一ヶ所だけロープと岩場であり、個人的には寂しかった✨
