A very nice quiet beach. You can swim here during the summertime. Life guards are present during peak season (last week of July). Very nice view of Mt. Fuji on a clear day. 千本浜海水浴場【令和２年度　開設中止】

千本松原の前に広がる海水浴場

千本浜海水浴場は、沼津の海水浴場のうち市街地から最も近い場所にあるビーチです。 東海道随一の景勝地として知られる千本松原の前に広がる長さ300mの海水浴場は、夕景は沼津随一と評され「白砂青松100選」に選ばれています。千本松原越しには、富士山山頂を眺めることができます。 なお、砂利浜で急に深くなっているところがあるため遊泳の際は注意が必要です。また、砂利で小石が多いため、マリンシューズを持っていくとベターです。

隣接する千本浜公園には、木製のジャングル遊具などを備えた児童公園もあり家族連れにはお薦めです。
