小鹿野町の街中にある由緒ある真言宗のお寺。園内は広く、歴史を感じさせる社が素晴らしい。秩父十三仏霊場の御朱印場所(薬師如来)にもなっている。 立派な仁王像が迎えてくれ、日本でここにしかない！！カルラ天の石像がある。芭蕉の句碑もある。また、巡礼者のものと思われる昔からの奉納物も数多くあり、古くから信仰を集めていた場所であったことを感じさせてくれる。今はなき伝説の「浅草十二階」の彫師によって彫られた奉納物もあった。まさかこんな場所でお目にかかるとは、驚いた。 毎年５月には花まつりも社内で開催...

小鹿野の町ナカにある「十輪寺」は真言宗智山派の寺院です。 街道沿いに山門はありますが、仁王門までは町の細い路地を進んで行きます。木造の仁王門は仁王像や仁王額もある立派なモノです。 境内には珍しいカルラ天の石像があります。それ以外にも小さな祠も点在しています。庭はキレイにされており、歩きまわるにはもってこいです。 また門前には鐘楼堂がありますが、高さがあって、まるで消防...
