Super cute place to get furniture. A tad pricier, but it's for a good cause. Love the events they host with local vendors to connect the community and also raise funds!!
I'm being picky, but this is the main reason I didn't give 5 stars. I'm part of the candle club and love their candles. I would have given 5 stars if there was a way for candle club to get the exclusive monthly scents in a refill instead of needing to buy a new vessel every month. I have too many vessels and am thinking about leaving candle club for that reason alone. 😅
Edit: A team member reached out to me about this review shortly after it was written. They wanted to clarify that refills are available IF there is excess of the signature scents the month after. There is no way to secure a for sure refill when a new scent is dropped in the month it's dropped. They also let me know that I might not be a good fit for candle club if I am not willing to get a new vessel each month.
I see this as sadly a missed opportunity to not offer exclusive scents as refills. I bet if they tried it out, they might make more in revenue, but I dont know the details of their business, so I dont know logistically how it could or couldn't work. I'm just a customer willing to give FGS money for the things I'd like to buy.. I'm huge fan of the reduce/reuse/recycle movement that everyone needs to be a part of to save our planet. In my opinion, one of the biggest and most unique and coolest perks of these candles is that they are refillable! I know several people who are also in candle club that feel the same way as I do. Sometimes, I do want the new scent, but I don’t want it in a vessel that doesn’t match my house. And then it is never offered as a refill, and it's sad.
There could be several clever ways to incentivize reusing vessels. Maybe exclusive refill scents? Or maybe a vessel return/recycling program? Or a take one leave one trade program? Or a vessel rental library? Or something. This is my only feedback, and I still have this feedback even after a team member reached out to discuss my google...

Read moreVery unique, I would say a mini L.A. boho type shop in the middle of a tiny military base next to a jungle. So random. Fun and unique stuff, check it out and wait for a sale as the prices are also L.A. They have some Okinawa made artist items too (jewelry, small paintings, great...
