Kumanokawaonsen Chidori Hot Spring — Local services in Saga

Small Onsen but reasonable price! This onsen is not in a big scale and is crowding during public holiday. Local people usually go there for an enjoyable hot spring. When I came there, the staff put oranges and other fruits into the water, so there is a very fresh and enjoyable fragrance. However, there are too many people so literally we couldn’t move around easily. But I think this situation will be much better in normal day time (I came there at Sunday night) For entrance fee, it is probably the cheapest among all Onsen in 熊の川— as far as I remember it’s 520yen per person. いいお風呂なのですが夕方に行くと露天風呂に常連とおぼしきおばさんたちが三密をものともせず大人数で集合して大声で喋っています。 ゆっくり静かに入りたくても強力に大きい声で下世話な話から家庭の下らない自慢話を聞きたくないのに延々と聞かされます。 同じ料金を払いながら常連の特権でもあると思っているのでしょうか?? 私が最初から一人でゆっくり入っていたのに大騒ぎして、挙句の果てにお湯までかけられました。 マナーのかけらもないこんなおばさんたちが大挙して露天風呂に居座っている限りここの温泉の評判は上がりません。 常軌を逸した大騒ぎのおばさんたちなので救いようがありません。

露天風呂の定員は狭いので多くても4人までにしてほしい。 おばはんたちは先客がいようがお構い無しで狭い露天風呂に６人以上で押しかけます。

コロナの時はおばさん達は感染を恐れてぴたっと来なくなっていたのですが つい先日の金曜日、うっかり夕方に行ってしまいました。 コロナも収まってまたしても大挙押し寄せて来ました(_
