Kondo Furniture — Local services in Sasebo

My entire shopping experience was fantastic.

A few months ago I came in to find 2 large tables and a couch for our school lounge area. Immediately an employee was there to help me and despite a language barrier was able to answer my questions and showed a lot of patience. Knowing the delivery timeframe I was able to come back and order the furniture that was decided on.

The purchasing process was even easier than expected. I paid with yen and card, they counted everything back to me to make sure our numbers matched and tallied it all out on my receipt.

I brought a copy of my address in Japanese to assist the delivery portion. Initially we were scheduled for a morning delivery but as we got closer to the date we had to make adjustments to the timeframe and they were more than accommodating.

Once the delivery arrived, perfectly in the window discussed, the two gentleman were quick to unload and put everything together. They were very professional, helpful and even took the boxes back with them.

I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of furniture items and will go to them again...

Excellent customer service. We walked into the store and couldnt believe our eyes when we saw the unbelievable LOW prices on quality furniture. We purchased an electric sofa. The process was quick and efficient. They delivered to our address on main base housing. Even though there was some mix up with the delivery (due to our error as the customer. They could not contact us because we had a DSN phone number) and we could not get our stuff delivered in the time frame, they did rearrange their schedule to still deliver the item later in the day. 車椅子では入れないかもしれないとは思ったが、身体障害者用の駐車場と、スロープがあったので入店してみたところ、直接顔を合わせる段階になってお断りをされ、車椅子の身内が可愛そうだった。車椅子お断りであることを、入店前に分かるように張り紙でも貼ってくれていた方が親切だと思う。

また、椅子を選ぼうとしていたら、誰さんだったか…店員のなかでは年配の方と思われるご婦人店員さんから「これで良いでしょう」と言われた。これはニュアンスが「これにしとけばいいんじゃないの」っていう押し付けに感じられ、その家具が好みではないことは置いても、接客態度のせいで、購入意欲が失せた。

小さい子供のいる家族が入店してくると警戒しているのも伝わってきた。以前に汚されたことでもあるのかもね。

客を選ぶ店だとも思うし、客を選ぶのにも当然の事情が感じられる。...
