This authentic accommodation was a highlight on our Japan trip, nestled in the countryside a short drive from the Shimanto River.||The staff were helpful and friendly, using Google Translate were necessary to bridge the language gap.||We felt looked after and well informed about what the booking had to offer, including a gorgeous restaurant, outside flower garden and relaxed café.||Our room was made complete with tatami mats and all required amenities, this was the biggest room we had the pleasure of staying in on our holiday by a good margin.||Though we were unable to make use of the public bath due to our busy schedule, it is open to guests.||I highly recommend Shimanto no Yado, our stay elevated our trip and made it...

Our room was generously sized and nicely appointed with two single beds in a Western-Japanese style.
