Zokoin Temple — Local services in Shirataka

A must visit!!! Please make a reservation to help the monk plan his day. You might be turned away or miss him if you do not make reservations. So much history here and you can see the mummy in the temple displayed respect fully. 300 yen to see, but you will spend more on some other items for sale. It is worth the drive. I took cab from across the Arato station and not bad about 800 yen. OH....Please do not get off at any other station....though Arato Station seems a little further its has the taxi...and buses...Enjoy and sorry I felt I should not take pictures but it is ok if you like, just...

🙏光明海上人即身仏をお祀りしてる　🏯お寺様です。

🐦白鷹町　🐻深山地区を抜け

今の時期も 🍁紅葉が✨大変綺麗な道を さらに🚗車で約5分😅。

⛰️山奥の秘境にその寺はあります。

🙏即身仏様や✴️珍しい仏像の他

🏯本堂では、 ❓不思議な🐲👏鳴き龍現象が 体験できます👂。

光明海上人を拝見しに訪問しました。 拝見前にお線香をさして仏様にご挨拶をいたします。 その後、拝観料を払いお堂の一番左側に配置されている光明海上人とご対面しました。案内は、カセットテープが流れます。 カセットテープが終わったらご住職が奥から戻ってきて光明海上人のお話をしてくださいます。 滞在時間は1時間程でした。 御朱印いただきましたが達筆でとても美文字です。 御守りは光明海上人の衣は入...
