Uta Hot Spring — Local services in Sugito

I just love this hot spring. Amazing, very clean, affordable and super serene! It is also near Tobu-dobutsukoen station. You can walk around 20 to 25 mins from the east exit. Moreover, they provide a shuttle service back and forth. The shuttle is across the bridge from the east exit of the train station. It runs every 30 mins. This onsen is really beautiful and has complete amenities from lotion, cream, soap and different hot spring pools. I like their pool with a warm spring water of around 45° celsius. I visited this 3 times during my 3 week stay in Saitama area. 1100 Yen for an adult during weekdays and on weekends, 1200 Yen. With this price, the towels (face and body) plus yukata (the dress worn after you finish onsen) are included. In some onsen, you rent the towels and they don't have yukata. Came here during a typhoon and I wasn’t disappointed. The facilities are pretty clean and lots of room for all the traffic that goes through here. I got the impression that it stays pretty busy throughout the day on weekend, though I only came here once. Their water quality is pretty good and their silk bath is s bit of a gimmick, but after laying out in the pouring rain while also being submerged in the hot onsen water outside, I would definitely come back. The indoor baths kept me toasty when I wanted to warm up. There are also plenty of massage services available with some wait during peak times.
