As of March 29, the sky Tower and attached building are closed. The restrooms are open, and the vending machines are off. I assume that those will open later in the spring, but I'm not sure. The views are incredible and it's only a short hike to the second highest and highest points in...

Nice to reach this high point after climbing up from Ryujin Onsen. On Sunday there were lots of bikers and some exotic cars. Nice place to try your driving skills. Stay within your lane as the bikers come quite close at times. Road surface is bad in places, so...

護摩壇山にある道の駅です。下界は暑さにうだるようでしたが、さすが護摩壇山、非常に心地良い気温でした。 お店の中には沢山の地元の商品が並び、特に胡麻に関連するラインナップが豊富でした。「あー、さすがに胡麻の産地の胡麻は他とは違って美味しのだろう」と思ったところで気づいたのですが、これは道の駅といえど、産地だから胡麻を置いてるのではないのではないか？ということに……。 これは、護摩壇山の「ごま」と、胡麻の「ゴマ」の単なる語呂合わせではないだろうかということに。ここで胡麻が販売されているのは、親父ギャグレベルのダジャレが理由であるということに。 という訳で、若干の裏切られた気分になりながらも（勝手に僕が勘違いしてだだけ）、せっかくなので『くろごまソフト』を頂きました。これが抜群に美味しかったです。濃厚なミルク感と、サラッとした口溶け、際立つ胡麻の風味。僕が最近食べたソフトクリームの中では一番の美味しさでした。わざわざうかがうのはちょっと大変ですが、高野龍神スカイラインを通るときにはぜひともお勧めします。

青春時代にバイク仲間と訪れた思い出の場所 みんな元気してるかなって思いながら景色を眺めてました 良いドライブコースだと思います

自宅の大阪からでも２時間と少しあれば（渋滞状況によりますが）行くことが可能な龍神スカイラインの途中にあります。３００円必要ですが展望塔（ごまさんスカイタワー）に登れば（エレベーター有り）西は和歌山、東は奈良の壮大な山々が見渡せます。特に晴天の日に行ったならそれはもう最高です。また、途中には弘法大師・空海が開いた日本を代表する真言密教の聖地　高野山があり数々の有名な方々のお墓などがあり色々な建物がありとても勉強になります。特に金剛峯寺を拝観される事をお勧め致します。（拝観料が必要ですがお茶とお菓子が頂けます。大広間で）ただ、休みの日は込みますのでご注意をお願いします。話はそれましたが、自然の雄大さと日頃のストレス解消には個人的なには最高のドライブコースと思います。何故なら、ここに自家用車行くだけならガソリン代以外はおやつや昼食代及びタワーの入館料以外は不要です。つまり、ただでスカイラインは走れるのです。ので、暇な方は一度行かれては如何でしょう。山のてっぺん最高!
