There is no stamp. There is no one in the shrine. I’m not even sure but it has to be the honden. It was a pretty small shrine. Then you have to walk 4 minutes to the toriis in the sea/ seafloor ahaha. Probably if you come late morning it will be low tide so there’s no water. Or at least it was like that when I came today on a summer day in August. I checked online and it was high tide around 8-9am. The tide must have receded fast.

Loved it. Came for sunrise and got a snowstorm instead. Really beautiful spot. Can't wait to come back at high tide.

ご祭神は、大魚大明神とされています。創建は不明ですが、1682年には諫早領主第６代茂元が社殿を再興したとありますから、それよりはかなり古いとおもわれます。有名な海中の鳥居は、1693年の建立です。 境内には、肥前鳥居、肥前狛犬、六地蔵等みられます。 ここは、多良岳から沖の島を結ぶ線上にあり、山と海の幸に恵まれた農業と漁業に感謝する為に造られた神社と思われます。

Loved it. Came for sunrise and got a snowstorm instead. Really beautiful spot. Can't wait to come back at high tide.
