A somewhat tough hike. Trail is sometimes a little ambiguous and a tad difficult to identify. Hikers can expect to encounter steep climbs and rocky areas in various points throughout the hike depending on their starting point. Would highly advise against climbing in adverse weather conditions and at night. I'd recommend riding the cable car to Mt. Mitake first and then climbing from there. Or if you're the adventurous kind, head down to Unazawa-Enchi, and begin your hike from there towards Mt. Odake. Otherwise, it is a beautiful place full of nature, with amazing views at the top.
