This is the most laid back of places in 'Tokyo'. grab the overnight ferry and arrive at 6AM, its a short stroll to the free onsen, glass making workshop, protected beach and town. A longer but totally do-able walk to the surfing beaches and tennis courts. A bike makes it a breeze, but a car rented from a minshiku is the ticket, especially for families.
