There is a parking place on the right side of the road, inside the cable station. I hope there is a bigger parking sign, so that driver can know. We didn’t notice and turn back to use Time parking.

ケーブルカー駅の駐車場は2階建てでかなり大きいですが、それでも夏休みの日曜には満車でした。駐車料金は1泊で2800円と、やや高め。宿に宿泊したという証明を見せると、1000円引きになります。 発車間隔は時間帯にもよりますが、だいたい30分に1本で、かなり混みます。とくに帰りは、駅まで長蛇の列ができることもあり、当然車内は限界まで詰め込まれます。 シーズンには臨時便を出すとか、もうちょっと考えてほしいです。 帰りの人はケーブルカー到着時に集中するため、駅の駐車場から出るときに車の列ができます。宿泊証明もいちいち駅員に見せないといけないため、これも渋滞のもと。この辺ももうちょっと工夫してほしいところです。 駅ではお土産の他、週末限定で炭火焼きの鮎や焼団子を売っていました。
