Tsukannon Temple — Local services in Tsu

The temple is very clean, very calm, very peaceful and very well maintained. This is one of the 3 major temples in Japan dedicated to the goddess, Kannon. 1300年の歴史が有る真言宗のお寺だそうです。浅草、大須と並ぶ日本三観音！パワースポットですね！かつては境内に観音堂を中心として塔頭寺院7ヶ寺をかまえた本山だったそうです。残念ながら太平洋戦争で全焼してしまったそうです。朱色の門をくぐる時に真ん中になにやら石が？無病息災、平安無事に御利益が有る石だと言う事でナデナデ。少し進むと手水舎が。銅で作ってある文化財らしいですよ。立派な木造の五重塔も有ります。本堂に進むと左右にお地蔵さんが居られます。抜苦地蔵さんに、まず自分の苦痛を感じている同じ場所を擦るそうです。次に与楽地蔵さんに、自分の願いを叶えて下さる様に手を合わせると良いそうです。(お地蔵さんの名前は書いて有ります)お参りもさせて頂きました。その後御朱印も頂き、その時、お菓子も頂きました。ご本尊は普段見れないらしいてすが、18日と正月三が日、見せて頂けたり、1年に1回4月に秘仏も御開帳されるとか。資料館が分からず見てません。今度は指定文化財も有るらしいので、また行かなくちゃ...
