Mizushima — Local services in Tsuruga

This is an uninhabited island, which many frequent for the beach. Great for a beach day and swimming/ snorkling in the shallows. A couple things to note: the cost for the short ferry is ¥1200 round trip. bring everything you'd need. Shade/tent, plenty of water/liquids, snacks, towels and so forth. There is nothing on the island..only a vending machine or two by the mainland dock. if taking transit, be aware of the bus times. They are in frequent. In my picture, the top square is times towards tsuruga stn.

Lugar lindo para passar o dia, com água super transparente, limpa e de temperatura agradável, ótimo para tomar banho. Só é possível entrar no mar de um lado da ilha, pois o outro lado é cheio de pedras. A ilha é simples, sem comércio algum — não há onde comprar água, refrigerante, gelo ou comida, então é preciso levar tudo. O banheiro é químico e não muito recomendado. 土曜日に行きました。

8時半頃　到着 ９時頃　　フェリーの待ち列に並び始め 10時頃　　乗船

色が浜周辺はお店がないので、敦賀駅周辺の コンビニで氷やお昼を購入。 水島にはトイレしかないので事前購入必須です。 日陰も少ないため、テントも持っていくと 心地よく過ごせました。

敦賀方面から水島へ向かうと、右手に1番近い駐車場が見えてきます。 看板もあり、警備員の方もいるので分かりやすいです。 駐車料金は1日1500円でした。2000円のところもあるみたいです。 駐車場にコンプレッサーがあるので、そこで浮き輪に空気を入れトイレを済ませてフェリー乗り場へ向かいました。

チケットは、フェリーに乗る直前に待ち列に並んでいる途中で購入するので、チケットなしで列に並んで大丈夫です◎

帰りのフェリーも13時すぎたあたりから帰る方もちらほらいて、14時頃には待ち列ができていました。 帰りのフェリーも1時間以上待つ覚悟で、予定がある方は余裕を持って動いた方が良さそうです。
