とても保存状態の良い古民家です。いろいろな部屋に立ち入ることができるので、古民家を見学したい人にとっては素晴らしい経験となるでしょう。近くには広い無料駐車場・草原・トイレもあり、ピクニックにもうってつけです。 古民家に入ってすぐ目に飛び込んで切るのは２つの大きな大金庫でした。昔の役場にあったものらしいです。また、馬屋だったところと思われる部屋は今の役場の物置になっているようです。そのような「今昔」にも触れることができます。

直ぐ近くに無料の駐車場が有ります。　時間が有れば、ここに停めて、鶴の舞橋へ行っても良い散歩コースです。 昔ながらの古民家、昔の人の生活ぶりを垣間見ることが出来ます。 是非残してもらいたい施設です。 無料です。　寒い地域の工夫ですね、入口は小さな扉です。　行ったときは無人でした。
