Out of the way but a pleasant stop if you're near. This is basically a school turned into a mini museum. There was a nature photography exhibition when I visited. These photographers have a good eye for the birds. The museum itself features exhibits of what classrooms looked like back in the 80s, Jomon artifacts from the area and various showa era performers :D Admission is free so...

平成時代後期まで実際に使われていた旧水元小学校の木造校舎です。校舎内には、学校や家庭で使われていた古道具などが展示されており、卒業生ならずとも懐かしい雰囲気を味わうことができます。いわゆる「尋常小学校」を彷彿とさせる佇まいです。入場は無料でした。

校舎自体が鶴田町の文化財に指定されており、市の職員らしき人が常駐しているようです。展示品は学校の教材、戦時中の砲弾、戦時債権、SPレコードプレーヤー、木造の農機具、えずこ（えんつこ・赤ちゃんを寝せておくかごのようなもの）など、かなりレアな骨董品が並んでいました。

また、校舎の２階には、タンチョウ鶴についての展示があり、鶴の巣の模型や求愛行動についての説明などがあり、なんとなく「鶴田ハゲます会」、「ツル多」など、鳥のツルとハゲのツルピカとの関連を示唆する一室があり、笑ってしまいましたｗ　鶴田町はウイットに富んでいることをしてくれるので、とても楽しそうな感じがします。

無料で入れる木造校舎の廃校です。教室や備品はとても綺麗に保存・管理されています。 地元は津軽ですが、ここの存在は知りませんでした。鶴の舞橋を観光した帰り、ふと車で通って覗いてみると、受付の方が「どうぞどうぞ」と迎え入れて下さいました。 木造の学校の匂い、今も生徒が通っているかのような校内で、とても懐かしい気持ちになりました。もっとここの存在が広まってほしいです。 どの世代の方が訪れても楽しめるので、春夏、ぜひ足...

陸奥鶴田駅からはタクシーで５分位？だと思いますが、田舎なので距離は結構あります。通常料金で1,500円以上だったと思います。 明治の建物らしく木造の校舎でした。ドラマの舞台にもなったらしいです。 無料で見学できます。木造の体育館？講堂？は天井の梁が剥き出しで昔は寒かっただろうなぁって感じました(受付のお姉さんが多分昔のままだと思いますって。今はいいけど、隙間風で寒いって話してくれました)

陸奥鶴田駅からはタクシーで５分位？だと思いますが、田舎なので距離は結構あります。通常料金で1,500円以上だったと思います。 明治の建物らしく木造の校舎でした。ドラマの舞台にもなったらしいです。 無料で見学できます。木造の体育館？講堂？は天井の梁が剥き出しで昔は寒かっただろうなぁって感じました(受付のお姉さんが多分昔のままだと思いますって。今はいいけど、隙間風で寒いって話してくれました)
