Muruku Beach — Local services in Uruma

My kids loved this beach the most, I think! Lots of room for them to run around and the shallows go out pretty far. Plenty of things to climb on and explore. We'd always park here for the day, its only 500yen for the day. If no one is out in the shop at the time we'd just leave the coin on the hood, never had a problem. The shop is really great too; they have snacks, drinks, equipment and rentals available. That and everyone there is really nice! To get there you have to take a dirt road off the main street, you'll see the docks below you and kinda drive through the jungle a bit, watch out for animals and giant crabs especially at night. Its very secluded, no one was there when we arrived and left. It needs to be cleaned. They charg 500 yen to park and they had a lot of swimming items but they didnt say to be careful of kelly fishes so we didnt try. Truly one of my favorite spots on this little island. It's perfect if you're looking for some adventure with great views.
