Kusugawa Onsen — Local services in Yakushima

地元の方で込み合うと聞いたので14時に訪問 駐車場あり　軽自動車なら7台駐車可能

入口の外に自動販売機あり 建物の中には無い

入浴料 300円 建物は古いが清潔感あり

更衣室は4.5畳ほど 4～5人で窮屈感あり ここも綺麗に掃除されていて清潔感あり

更衣室には鍵付きロッカーが無い

鍵付きロッカーは休憩室にあるので 貴重品は更衣室に入る前に休憩室のロッカーへ

扇風機はあるが それ以上のすきま風あり 涼しいと思うか、寒いと思うかは季節次第

天井付近にコンセント1ヶ所あり 洗面台が1ヶ所 ドライヤー設置なし パイプ椅子2つあり

洗い場は4人分あり シャワーが2ヶ所 蛇口のみが2ヶ所 だが、3人でいっぱいの状態

シャンプー･コンディショナーなし 固形石鹸あり

すべての窓は閉まっていたが 露天風呂並みの すきま風あり

窓は閉められていて景色は楽しめないが 風が入るので密閉感も息苦しさもない

(個人的には涼しくて気持ち良かった)

シャワーの湯量は少ない 洗面器いっぱいにお湯を溜めるのに 30秒以上必要

浴槽は2畳ほどの広さ 友人同士なら、何とか5人で入れる広さ

循環式ではないので お湯が冷めてしまわないように 保温シートが掛けられている

各自で保温シートを外し入浴 最後の人は次の人の為に 再度 保温シートを

浴槽の幅の広い方は足が伸ばせる ただし、幅の狭い方は体操座り

湯温調節は自由 湯質はとろみがあり 肌がつるつるになる

浴槽の壁は肩つぼマッサージに最適な石があり 肩甲骨裏までゴリゴリ出来る

自然の中の山小屋のような古い建物なので 虫がいて当然なのに ほとんどいない

訪問時は誰もお客さんがいなかったが 15時過ぎ頃から登山者らしき方が4名

16時～18時頃は地元の方で込み合うらしい

込み合う時間帯を避けて行けば 300円で十分過ぎるほど ほっこり出来る

僻地慣れしている方にはオススメ

個人的には、大満足 (^^)b

運良く貸切り状態になった時は 窓を開けて、すぐそばに流れる川の音を 聞きながらのんびりと過ごすのもいい

I visited here at 14:00.

There is a parking lot for 7 cars. There is a vending machine outside an entrance. There is not it in the building.

Bathing charges 300 yen. The building is old, but its cleanliness.

The locker room is approximately 4.5 tatami. Here is cleaned neatly. The locker room does not have the locker with the key. Because there is the locker with the key in the rest room.

There is no hair dryer. There is the washing space for four people. There is no shampoo and conditioner. There are some solid soap.

All windows closed. There is a draft at the same level as an outdoor bath. The window is closed and cannot enjoy the outside view.

There is little quantity of water of the shower. To fill hot water in the washbowl,it is necessary more than 30 seconds.

The bathtub is area approximately 2 tatami The wall of the bathtub has the stone which is most suitable for shoulder pot massage.

Nobody had a visitor at the time of the visit. The person like the mountaineer is four people from past 15:00 I seem to be crowded with local one in from 16:00 to 18:00.

Wonderful hidden onsen, great to soak here after a hike! It's very small (probably room for about 5 people per bath) and quite old, but very clean. No bugs inside even though it's in the woods. When bathing, you can look outside, enjoy the green view and hear the river flowing, beautiful. Men/women bath separately as usual in Japan. Price is 300, you can get a bathing towel and a modesty towel for an extra 150. The water is quite hot! But it's not stuffy inside, even...

Great onsen. However, it is small, and can accommodate only 3-4 people in the bath place at once. In the middle of a forest, so great vibe. While soap and hair drier are available, still be prepared while going, especially with towels and shampoo and face wash, if needed. The water isn't too hot, as it is a low temperature onsen.
