北奥千丈岳は標高2601mの2600m越えで、奥秩父の盟主と呼ばれる金峰山の2599mよりも標高は高いはずなのに、奥秩父の主脈から少し外れているためか、はたまた五丈岩を冠する金峰山よりも見た目のインパクトが低いせいか、あまり有名でない、かわいそうな気がしてしまう名山です。 実際、金峰山や国師岳に登るついでに登られる方が多いのではないでしょうか。奥秩父の主脈縦走路の前国師岳と国師岳の中間の分岐点からあまり苦労せずに北奥千丈岳のピークに至ることが可能です。眺望は悪くないのですが、角度的に富士山が見えないのが痛いのかもしれないです。

大弛峠より国師岳と北奥千丈岳を早朝お手軽登山しました♪🥾⛰️天気も良く富士山と雲海がハッキリと現れて素晴らしいご来光でした🌅 日本最高峰の車で来れる大弛峠は山梨県側は非常に良く整備されてアクセス良いですが長野県側に入ると砂利道で狭く整備に雲泥の差がありますね☹️😳 夢の庭園など見所も沢山ありその日にサクッと気軽に行ける大変お薦め...
