はまなすラインから少しだけ入った所に ポツンと存在する、寂しげな無人駅。 沿線の過疎ぶりを象徴するかのように、 隣の有戸からは14km余りも離れている。

大湊線最後の駅訪問です。夏も終わりになってきて、日が落ちるのか早くなりました。 駅前にヤマザキがあって助かりました。おばさん、愛想いいです。
