Terasaki Beach • Tumai — Local services in Yoron

Gorgeous beach, remote, but with bathroom facilities nearby. I was here during sunrise, and the sun coming up over the seaside rocks looked like the sillouette of a dragon breathing fire. I realize looking at pictures people have posted of Terasaki Beach, that some of my pictures from Muinushi Beach are actually of this one. The reason is that I participated in a morning beach clean-up that started at Muinushi Beach and headed to Terasaki as well. Since it was later morning by the time I got to this beach, most of my pictures are actually of Terasaki. Both beaches were incredible, and like I mention in my Muinushi review, I highly highly recommend trying to participate in a beach clean up one morning you are in Yoron. 寺崎海岸と言うと映画「めがね」のロケ地、メルシー体操なるものを踊っていたところですが、岬でもないけれど、出っ張った岩のあるところで右側と左側に分かれていますね。 メルシー体操の地は左側。僕が行ったのは車で何となく近くまで行けた右側。 浜辺の陸地側に防波堤のうなコンクリート壁があり、時間帯によってはその辺が日陰になります。 日陰に車を停めて、浜辺の日陰に横になったり海に入ったり… 黄昏ます…(^-^) 良くわかっていなかったから右側に行きましたが、左側でも良かったのかな？ それにしても、与論島のあの緑がかった海の色にいつも魅せられます… 写真では雰囲気はわかりますが、あの緑が綺麗に写らないような気がします。 青緑に揺られて、まみれて過...

駐車場側の寺崎海岸、駐車場から少し登って行くトゥマイビーチの2箇所？（繋がってると思うけど）がありました！ 夫婦龍の伝説があり、龍が住む浜と言われるパワースポットだそうです！

ドラマ「恋する母たち」にも登場するとのこと。

シーグラス拾いのお散歩目的で行きましたが、縁起の良い場所でとっても珍しい真っ青のシーグラスを拾うことができました！ 与論在住の方が見てもとても珍しいよと言っていました^^嬉しい！（見つけたのは娘やけど）
