紅葉寺　慈徳院。（202411）【平日混雑無し】 ※丹後もみじ寺。 紅葉山は途中から急勾配の土の山道なので、運動靴が必要です。

宗派　臨済宗妙心寺派 本尊　世観世音菩薩坐像 創建　？

11/15。紅葉がグラデーションになっていてとても綺麗です。 足の不自由な方でも本堂から景色が楽しめます。

🅿️無料駐車場有り、 🚻トイレはあるようですが施錠されている。

【日時】2022年11月(土曜日) 【駐車場】無料 【拝観料】無料 【御朱印】あり ＊初穂料 300円 旅の途中に立ち寄りました。 駐車場は広くて停めやすいです。 まずは、駐車場の対面にある紅葉を鑑賞。 敷地はコンパクトですがキレイに色付いた紅葉には心が和みます。 御朱印は駐車場横の本堂に受け付け場所がありました。 住職さんも気さくな方で、もみじ祭り(すでに終わっていた…。)の事や本堂が移転された話をしてくださいました。 拝受してきた御朱印は紅葉のモチーフがちりばめられていてとても素敵な御朱印です。

「京丹後 紅葉スポット」で検索すると出てくるくらい知名度の高いもみじ寺・慈徳院。 住職さんが17年前から少しずつ山を切り開いてもみじを植えているそうです。 敷地内にある庭から眺める一面のモミジ林、山道沿いのモミジやドウダンツツジ、苔むした緑に落葉の赤が映えてこれがまた美しいです。 2024年12月現在、紅葉ライトアップは終わってましたが、まだまだ綺麗で見頃でした。 Instagramで紅葉の状態が確認できるそうです。 ライブなども開催されるようで来年はぜひとも拝見したいですね。
