Road Station Ai-Land Yūbetsu — Local services in Yubetsu

If you're not expecting it, this Michi no Eki is a bit strange. You pull in, the car park is huge and... is that a ferris wheel? Yes, yes it is.

So anyway, the facilities aren't great but there's a few food stalls to make up for what the rest lacks and a fun park called Ai Land. It wasn't open when I turned up but if you wander past it there's some good coastal views to be had.

All in all a fun little...

The milk-flavoured soft serve itself was delicious, but the experience was completely ruined by the attitude of the staff. The elderly woman serving was visibly unfriendly, making the whole interaction unpleasant. No matter how good a product is, poor service can overshadow it.
