Highly recommend this tour, we absolutely loved it and it's worth every penny of the Β£45pp you will pay. We had no idea that Jersey has so much WW2 history with the island full of bunkers and thanks to this tour and Phil knowledge we got to understand it really well. Basically Phil, your guide, will pick you up in his massive Land Rover at the pre-arranged time and then drive you across the island to several bunker/tunnel sights given you all the history on the way. This also means that there can be only 4 max on the tour given the car constraint. We saw 4 different sights, 3 bunkers and 1 tunnel complex in the space of 4h. What is great is that the tour is relatively informal in that there is no set number of sights (Phil has the keys to 20+ bunkers) and no set time at each sight; you go at your own pace, ask Phil any questions about WW2 but also about Jersey itself as he is a true local. For instance 2 of our sights were initially not planned but when Phil heard we were unable to go to the War Tunnels Museum, he took us to see some tunnels. Phil has clearly done this for a number of years and his expertise, good vibes and smooth driving really make for a great tour. I'll be honest, through this tour you kind of get a private tour of the island itself and Phil will answer any question you may have. This fully justified us not booking our own car since we spent 4h going around anyway. Β£45 may seem steep but it's worth it given that it's an almost private tour and it funds the research that Phil and his colleague do for the island. Highly recommend this over the War Tunnels Museum. PS: you also get to touch all kinds of cool (deactivated) weapons

Hands down the best military tour on the Island. Various sites covering a few hours of exploring. Guide is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Lucked out. A must for any enthusiast or history buff. Hands on with real artifacts and a side to the occupation of Jersey during WW2 few have gotten to see.

A definite must. Phil was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. Makes a big difference being shown around and also told how things worked, how they were used. I have been to see a few of the bunkers around the Island, but going with Phil was certainly a good idea. Can definitely recommend.

Excellent again! You guys never fail to impress.I would highly recommend trips run by Jersey War Tours. We saw new bunkers not normally open to the public and have now done both the evening and day tours.πŸ‘πŸ‘Guides truly know their stuff and ask as many questions you like they are only too willing to help and inform. Well worth the price of tickets.I've visited many fortifications some on Mainland UK run by Big Organisations are not a patch on this. 5star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 service. You don't very often get to touch and pick up artifacts..... with Jersey War Tours you can, make the most of it everyone they're not supported by any big organisation and all their funds are self generated very pleased to support Jersey...

myself and my son went on an evening bunker tour with Phil last night and it was amazing, Phil has a wealth of WW2 knowledge and doesn't mind sharing it, answering all of our questions and explaining everything about the bunkers we visited, Phil delivered the tour without rushing and took time to show my son an assortment of WW2 weapons even letting him handle them which you wouldn't get to do in any museum. If you are interested in the occupation of Jersey or WW2 in general, I cannot recommend this tour and Phil as a...
